We are inviting Petroleum Engineering and Geoscience Young Professionals, including students and recent graduates, to volunteer to assist the committee on the conference days.  Volunteers will be required primarily for overseeing the technical and panel sessions on all three conference days.  They will also be required to assist the secretariat during delegate registration on the first day.

Conference: 2012 SPETT Energy Conference - Developing Resources for Sustainability
Position: Young Professional Volunteer (YPVs); 10 positions currently available.
Job specifications: Conference Days; June 11th – 13th, 2012 from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Location: Hyatt Regency Hotel, Port of Spain, Trinidad

Responsibilities

1. Assistance with delegate registration on the first conference day; including distribution of Conference information packages.
2. Assistance with the management of technical and panel sessions.
3. Provide primary level assistance in all conference areas.
   1. Assist delegates to locate technical or panel session rooms.
   2. Act upon all comments/complaints in a prompt, respectful and friendly manner.
   3. Report any issues to a supervisor.

Qualifications

1. Petroleum Engineering / Geosciences student
2. Petroleum Engineering / Geosciences Graduate
3. Friendly and personable with excellent customer service skills
4. Great communication skills
5. A team player; must work well with others.
